这个项目旨在创造出一个提供给城市里无处可居的流浪者居住的场所，这个社区包含了12个能够自给自足的居住单元和共享的公共服务空间。除了能满足提供给流浪者们一个安全、私密和饱含尊重的居住空间这一基本需求外，也期望能给居住在这个社区的流浪者们提供一份归属和参与感。

his project aims to create a tiny home community that contains twelve self-sufficient units and shared spaces for people without a stable dwelling place. It’s fundamental to provide a place where they can inhabit with security, privacy and respect. Creating a home and community with a sense of belonging and engaging is essential.

12个独立的居住单元主要分布在基地的东侧，在这个设计中，单元之间的户外空间不再单纯只是居住空间的延伸，它同时也是个提供给居住者们一个种植小型蔬果的微型农场。这些作物不仅可以提供给居住者自用，同时也可以销售给周边其他的居民。基地西侧临街的户外空间在周末可以很自然的做为小型农贸市场，社区中的共享厨房在节假日也是一个零食贩售点，周围其他城市居民也可以参与其中的活动，这样的配置处理使它很自然地成为一个面向周围邻里积极互动的窗口。社区整个西侧临街面都将对城市开放，位于西北侧街角的社区中心的定位除提供社区居民一个交流、休憩的空间外，它也可以对周边居民开放使用，提供周边邻里的一个公共的室内聚会和活动场所。从微观经济的角度上看，整个社区形成了一个从生产到消费的社会生态链，有利于其在这个区域的可持续发展，不同于其它同类机构（游民收容所）的隔离策略，这个社区将不再孤立于喧嚣的城市生活之外，而这对于城市发展和住民来说都是有利的。

The twelve dwelling units are located at the east part of the site. The space in between the units becomes an extension of the dwelling that is not only an outdoor living space for activities, but also a micro farm for cultivation of vegetables and small fruits by residents. Other than self-use, the farm products can also be sold to the neighborhood nearby. The plaza at the west side along S West Street can be arranged into a farmers market during the weekends and holidays. The community kitchen can be used to make pastries or simple food for sale. The community center at the northeast corner provides the residents an ample room for multiple activities. It is also open to the public for social gatherings and events. These public facilities become windows to interact with the surrounding neighborhood. The micro economic, a production-consumption chain in this area is generated. It is an ecological and social sustainable community, and also an urban green.

独立的10平方米的居住单元包含了基本的生活空间、私人卫厕以及适当面积的储物空间，建筑的结构和构造系统是由易于构建的材料所组成，每个居住单体都能够在基地上快速地搭建，所使用的大部分材料经过适当的处理是可以重复利用的。两到三个独立居住单元通过了屋顶的构架组合在一起，在形态上构成了第二个层级的邻里组团，而这些屋顶的构架也为其上可移动的蔬菜架提供了足够的结构支撑。呈倒置“L”型的可移动蔬菜架就像是地面上耕地的延伸，它将每个居住单元的屋顶和面西向或南向的露台都有效地遮挡起来，为居住单元提供良好的遮阳，同时也创造出另一层次的外部私密空间。屋顶和地面的雨水将通过设置于居住单元下部的中水回收装置处理后，用于农作物灌溉以及马桶用水。其他生物废料和排泄物质则会通过埋于地下的沼气池处理成为各单元的小型发电机的原料，所产生的能源将供给居住单元的日常生活使用。整个社区是一个微型生态循环系统，自我循环利用能源，避免不必要的资源浪费。

The dwelling unit is a performance base structure. It can be rapidly deployed on the site. Most of the building materials can be reused after proper treatments. Two to three dwelling units merge to a cluster by a structure with movable vegetable canopies, which are bio-folds as extensions of the tillage land. The canopy veils the west or south facades and the roof, providing a natural sun shade for the dwelling unit below. Through recycle water system, rainfall from roof and ground is collected and recycled for the uses of irrigation and toilet water. The bio waste and excreta is the source to generate electricity by the underground bio waste recycle unit to supply power for the unit’s daily use. The whole community is a micro ecological system. It is self-sustained to avoid unnecessary waste of resources.
