建筑师希望在一个极冷的环境中设置一种与其它地区截然不同的语境。虽然可供深入探索的事物很多，但“冷”与“雪”给人的印象最为深刻。在这种状态下，建筑师找到了打造“防风屋”的可能性，并对扩建和多样化进行了考量。

I keep on design activities in Hokkaido, so most of my projects ran there. By designing in a remarkably cold, I continued thinking on response to completely different contexts from other areas. They are mainly “cold” and “snow”. Of course there are other various things to deal with, but these contexts have the great impact. In this state, I felt the possibility of “a windbreak room” and thought about the expansion and diversity.

这个小小的画室位于札幌市北部安静的住宅区中。工作室与主楼独立，主要用作画室，带有储藏室，小厨房等附属功能用房。面积只有30平米，建筑位于场地中间，四周留出公共
和私人停车位。

This is a plan of a small atelier. The site is a quiet residential area located in the north of Sapporo City. The atelier was hoped for there as parting of an existing main building. As the program, the practice and the announcement association etc. of the space and flamenco for the painting were possible space, storage room, and small kitchen, the rest room, and the roasting room, etc. were requested.

富田农场的休闲设施，北海道

Jun Igarashi Office在日本北海道空知郡的富田农场（这里主要种植花卉，有北海道极富盛名的薰衣草花田）设计了三个商业休闲设施，以供游人停留与休息。这些设施为木结构和钢结构，全为一层。他们得体的与停车场，身后的商店，或者身前的彩色田野，或者周围的树林和谐共处，低调且不失存在感。

和弦住宅，北海道

这座叫做”和弦”的房屋拥有多个层次空间，这些层次共同演奏出一曲别样的空间交响乐。场地前身是均质无特色的蛮荒工地。房屋内部的空间嵌套组合，通过控制和利用风量减少房间能量消耗。建筑师认为这样的应用无论是北海道这样的高寒地区还是炎热带地区均能适应。

The theme of this house is air volume.This house has many layered air volume. So I call this house “polyphonic” The site is a place used to be a workplace of the construction company and it seems atmosphere savage. It is not feel the context of orientation , so I put the house on the center of the site to be no hierarchy around the house. This house change the air volume between summer and winter. The aim of nesting composition of section and plan of this house is to change the air volume. Not just the reason of make the space nor design.

盒子住宅，北海道札幌

这栋迷人的小住宅位于日本札幌市郊区，坐落在一个具有高差的坡上。建筑师将坡段处理成阶梯状，建筑就立于阶梯平台之上。因为是在寒冷的北海道，当地建筑的入口都会有两道门，建筑师在这个建筑的入口处设置了一条长长的走廊作为缓冲空间。介入场地面积有限，建筑师又在建筑与院子之间的地界上，从建筑屋顶向下放射状的拉了很多钢丝，以后植物爬满这些钢丝的时候，会成为建筑与外界的新缓冲空间。

This house is located on the suburb of the city of Sapporo. The site is a typical suburban subdivision and height difference between the road is large. Footprint is determined by building coverage and wall retreat of the architectural law and the slope of the site approach. I set the long corridor of entrance as a buffer zone(windbreak room) between the large heat load space.Because of the site area is small,to set the buffer space into the inside is difficult. So I spread the thoughts and invent the space of growing plant on Stainless Steel Wire around the house as the new type of buffer zone between outside and inside.
