MARU.architecture was founded in 2013 by Yohei Takano and Sachiko Morita. The firm handles a wide range of projects, from single-family homes and apartment buildings to offices, public architecture, and renovations. Notable projects include the Tosa City Cultural Complex (2019), the Matsubara City Library (2019), and the Miyakonojo Kindergarten (2019). Prizes include the Architectural Institute of Japan Newcomer Award, the Good Design Award, and many more.
