基于大湾区动态变化的城市环境，香港中文大学结构平衡实验室以结构平衡的概念为基础，以设计为导向，围绕可持续发展的城市未来，对结构与空间、材料与效用、教学与叙事进行交叉研究和深入探讨，通过技术表征扩展结构的工程与科学属性，回应不断变化的城市需求和建筑实践。
Based on the dynamic and ever-changing urban environment of the Greater Bay Area, the [S]Equilibrium Lab of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is based on the concept of structural equilibrium and is design-oriented to think about the cross-research and in-depth discussion of structure and space, material and utility, teaching and narrative around a sustainable urban future. It extends the engineering and scientific attributes of structures under technical representations to respond to the changing urban needs and architectural practices.
