Palimpsest (Atelier), founded in Shenzhen, January 2021 by the architect Zongjie Kou, aims to examine space from anthropology and build a new artificial surface based on humanities and technology. Kou graduated from the University of Sheffield (RIBA Part2) and Chongqing University. He has practiced in London, Toronto, Hangzhou, Wuhan and Shenzhen. His works have been selected in Tianzuo Cup, Hakka Cup, Young Architect Competition, Kaizhou New City International Architect Design Competition, West Sichuan Linpan Architectural Design Update Competition, Luhu Public Chair Design Competition, Chengdu Jincheng Park Architectural Design
