CHANG HAO STUDIO is a spatial design practice. We believe the most honest measure of a space is the moment someone reaches for their phone to capture it.
CHANG HAO STUDIO was founded by New York–registered architect Hao Chang together with a team of architects and landscape designers. Our members studied at Tsinghua University and Columbia University, and our work has received international recognition. We create spaces where people want to stay. Time spent in a place is its own form of judgment: it signals that something real is there—worth documenting, worth sharing, worth making a special trip for, and worth telling someone, ‘You have to go.’
